Mumbai: With the Indian Idol season 5 knocking at the door, financial problems seem to crop up among the jury.

The jury panel of this season’s Indian Idol is Anu Malik, Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan.

A cold war has emerged between Anu Malik and the channel with respect to injustice of payments.

Anu is being paid a smaller amount in comparison to Sunidhi. Sunidhi will be paid Rs 7.5 lakhs/episode and Anu Malik on the other hand will be paid Rs 5 lakhs.

This injustice has annoyed him, he has warned the channel to take immediate steps or else he will quit the show.

Vice President and marketing head of Sony Entertainment Television Danish Khan stated that he will sort out this matter soon.
